How long will my order take to arrive?


Buchi shipments will arrive in approximately 2-5 business days, depending on the day of purchase and your location. Please be sure to check your tracking information to see when your shipment will arrive.

Local Delivery

If your order is placed before 4PM on Monday, your order will be delivered by our team on Tuesday or Wednesday. If your order is placed after 4PM on Monday, your order will be delivered the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Are there order minimums?

There is no minimum required for orders being shipped. For local delivery, we ask for a 2 case minimum.

Are there any states or zip codes where Buchi does not ship?

Buchi currently ships to North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee. We are keeping a close eye on requests for Buchi from other areas and intend to widen our availability as patterns of interest emerge.

Who qualifies for FREE Delivery?

Free delivery areas are based on our existing store delivery routes in the Asheville and Greenville areas, and the capacity of our delivery team of two. If your area isn't currently part of our delivery route, please know that we are keeping track of requests for Buchi across the region and will widen our delivery options if and when we can. We want you to have your Buchi - we just need a little more time to figure out how to cover more ground.

In the meantime, if you live in NC, SC, FL, VA, GA, or TN, you are eligible for Buchi's direct shipping option - we cold-ship right to your door!

Can you give me a time-window for my Buchi delivery?

We would love to be able to deliver your Buchi within a specific time-window, but we unfortunately aren't able to at this time. Our delivery team is two people strong, and a predetermined delivery route helps us serve as many customers as possible. While we can't promise to get to you at a specific time, we CAN promise we'll get there!

Is Buchi delivered cold to ensure quality?


Yes! Your order is packed with the utmost care and will arrive in an insulated box with a cold-pack that is designed to keep your Buchi safe and cold.

Fun fact, our packaging is all recyclable! 


Our direct delivery team uses refrigerated vans to ensure your Buchi products will arrive at your doorstep cold. This is why we’ve asked you to sign up for text or email notifications during checkout - so we can contact you to let you know when we’ve delivered. We understand there’s a chance you may not be home when we deliver - so the delivery notification will include a reminder to refrigerate your Buchi when you get home. 

Is your packaging recyclable?

YES! Here is how you can recycle your packaging:
  • The shipping box, tape, and notecards: These are 100% recyclable.
  • The blue plastic surrounding the insulation: 100% recyclable and biodegradable.
  • The insulation: The insulation is made from rocks! It's heated to a molten state, processed through a spinner which creates fibers, and then sent through rollers. It is not recyclable or biodegradable, but once it is deposited in a landfill, it will break down and return to its natural form.
  • The ice pack: Please reuse!

Can Buchi ship to a PO Box?

We unfortunately cannot ship to a PO Box at this time. 

Can Buchi ship internationally?

We unfortunately cannot ship to international addresses at this time. 


Return Policy

Due to the complex nature of kombucha and kefir, we unfortunately cannot accept returns. If you experience an issue with your order, please email support@drinkbuchi.com so we can help!
